Key West Kids Fishing Report
April 2, 2010

Sunset Key send David and I out this afternoon with Murray, Max, and Haley Chesno and Chris, CJ, and Mimi Lewis, all from Chicago. Haley and Mimi spent the day up top with me while the boys fished. CJ caught a Cero Mackeral while Max captured a Kingfish. We had a lot of action, but the fish were striking short and we lost a lot. CJ's first fish was coming to the boat nicely when an 800# Dolphin came to the surface and ate it! That was very cool, but not as cool as it would have been if he got it to the boat. We all saw the Dolphins on the way out in the harbor, and I wish they'd stayed there. Mimi saw a jumping Blacktip Reef Shark and a few Flying Fish as well. CJ wants to be a marine biologist, so I guess it's fitting that he fed the dolphin! Tight Lines and Screaming Reels, Capt Ted
