fdKey West Fishing Report
February 18, 2010

Ron Fox from St Louis fished with David and I today on the Lethal Weapon. We pickedc Ron up at Sunset Key and headed offshore. We used light tackle today, nothing over #20, and caught 30-40 fish. We started on the Barracudas, released a dozen, then went to work on the Mackeral and Kingfish. We had our limit oin no time, and began releasing the fish. We put one down live on an #80 outfit for Shark, but got no bites. We were free-lining Ballyhoo out as we were Sharking, constantly catching Kings and Cero Mackeral, and our last strike was this #50+ Kingfish that Ron captured after a 400 yard run on the strike, and a great fight. The huge King is headed for Ron's wall, and is the trophy of a lifetime. Tight Lines and Screaming Reels, Capt Ted
